Navgraha Glossary

Every term used across Celesthea, defined simply — for anyone new to Navgraha and ritual bathing.

Navgraha

The nine planetary bodies of Vedic astrology: Surya, Chandra, Mangal, Budh, Guru Brihaspati, Shukra, Shani, Rahu and Ketu. Each is associated with a distinct energy and intention. Explore the Navgraha Collection →

Aushadhi

A herbal or medicinal substance in Indian tradition. Celesthea's Aushadhi Baths are proprietary blends of rare herbal aushadhis, sourced from different parts of the world and purified through traditional yagya. See how it's used →

Grah Shanti

Literally "planetary peace" — practices intended to bring a planet's energy into balance. Celesthea reframes grah shanti as a daily bathing ritual rather than a one-time ceremony. Find your grah shanti ritual →

Snan

The Sanskrit word for a ritual bath — bathing with intention, often marking a beginning or a release. Celesthea's daily Aushadhi Bath is a modern, everyday form of snan.

Yagya

A traditional purification rite. Celesthea's aushadhi blends are purified through yagya performed by sadhus before being packed.

21-Day Ritual

The starting point Celesthea recommends for daily practice — most people begin to notice an inner shift within 21 consecutive days of use.

42-Day Practice

A longer arc of daily practice; by 42 days, consistent use tends to become a visible, settled part of routine. Ritual momentum fades if practice stops, which is why daily use matters more than any single bath.

Sade Sati

A roughly seven-and-a-half-year period associated with Shani's transit in traditional astrology, often linked with themes of delay and restriction. Celesthea's Shani ritual is a grounding daily practice — not a remedy tied to this or any specific transit.

Celesthea products are for ritual and self-care use only. They do not guarantee specific outcomes and are not medical products.
